No one can deny that we live in a fast-paced world and unfortunately, it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. This often means that you can lose sight of the things that truly matter. I know I’m guilty of this sometimes! Between family, work, and other commitments it can be really hard to find time to stop and smell the roses.

This is where a gratitude journal can help you and, once you get started, you will see how it can completely change your perspective on life!

A gratitude journal is a notebook where you simply write down things that you are thankful for each day. At first, it can be a little tough to come up with different things to be grateful for each day but, when you stick with it, you will start to notice a shift in your thinking and you will start seeing the beauty in the small things – a sunset, a good cup of coffee, a laugh with a friend!

In fact, the more you use your gratitude journal to record the things you are grateful for, the more you will start seeing other things to be grateful for, even during difficult or challenging times.

In this article, I have put together a giant list of over 300 gratitude journal prompts and ideas to help you when you first start gratitude journaling. I have arranged all the gratitude prompts into sections so that you can concentrate on practicing gratitude in a particular area of your life if you would like to.

And if you are still new to journaling, don’t forget to check out our journaling guide for beginners.
