Discover Who God Says You Are.
February is the perfect month to reset your perspective and discover your true identity. Not the one the world wants you to believe, but rather the one God has given you.
This February Bible reading plan will walk you through 28 days of Scripture to help you discover who you really are in Christ. Because (although you might sometimes be tempted to think so) your job title doesn’t define you, your relationship doesn’t complete you, and your past mistakes aren’t your future! God has something way better to say about who you are!

Why This February Bible Study Plan Is Different
Most February Bible reading plans focus on love (which is beautiful!). But this year, I wanted to go deeper, so I wanted to explore our identity in Christ because when you truly understand how much you are loved, everything can truly change!
If you want to go even deeper, don’t forget to check out our Identity In Christ Bible study with a free Scripture reference sheet!
What You’ll Discover in This 28-Day Bible Reading Plan
Over four weeks, you’ll explore four life-changing truths:
- Week 1: You are loved and accepted (yes, really!)
- Week 2: You are new and forgiven (the slate is clean)
- Week 3: You are secure and significant (you matter more than you know)
- Week 4: You are called and equipped (you’ve got what it takes)
Each day includes one Bible verse to read, reflect on, and carry with you throughout your day.
How to Use The February Bible Reading Plan
This daily Bible reading plan works however you need it to. Some people prefer their morning Bible reading plan with coffee. Others read before bed. There’s no wrong way to do this.
Here’s what makes it work:
Read the verse slowly. Let it sink in. Ask yourself: what is God saying about me here? Then carry that idea with you throughout your day. When doubt or criticism creeps in, or anytime you start to doubt your value, come back to what God says.
Download the PDF version down below (perfect for printing and keeping in your Bible), or just follow along each day. Add it to your existing Bible reading plans or use it as a standalone February scripture writing plan.
The Plan!
This is a February Bible reading plan with 28 daily verses, perfect for anyone looking for a structured plan this month.
Week 1: You Are Loved & Accepted
Let’s start by building a strong foundation that reminds you that you are deeply, unconditionally loved.
The world constantly questions your worth and things like social media like to tell you that you’re not pretty enough, successful enough, or interesting enough. But God’s word says something completely different.
This week’s February Bible verses remind you that acceptance isn’t something you achieve, it’s something you already have.
Day 1 – 1 John 3:1 – You are a beloved child of God. Not because you earned it. Not because you’re perfect. Simply because God chose you.
Day 2 – Ephesians 1:4-6 – Before the world began, God chose you. You are holy and blameless in His sight. Let that sink in.
Day 3 – Romans 5:8 – God loved you at your worst. While you were still a mess, Christ died for you. That’s unconditional love.
Day 4 – Romans 15:7 – Christ accepts you completely. No proving yourself necessary.
Day 5 – Zephaniah 3:17 – God doesn’t just tolerate you, He delights in you! He sings over you with joy.
Day 6 – John 1:12 – You have been given the right to be called God’s child!
Day 7 – 1 Peter 2:9 – You are God’s special possession. Chosen. Royal. Set apart.
Week 2: You Are New & Forgiven
This February daily Bible reading section is crucial because so many people are stuck in past failures, believing they don’t deserve God’s best. But God’s forgiveness isn’t partial, it’s complete! When God says you’re new, He means it.
Day 8 – 2 Corinthians 5:17 – You are a new creation. The old version of you is gone!
Day 9 – Romans 8:1 – There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. None. Zero.
Day 10 – Ephesians 1:7 – You are forgiven and redeemed through His blood. The price has been paid in full.
Day 11 – Colossians 1:13-14 – God rescued you from darkness and brought you into His kingdom. You’re not stuck anymore.
Day 12 – Psalm 103:12 – Your sins have been removed as far as the east is from the west. That’s immeasurable distance.
Day 13 – Isaiah 43:25 – God doesn’t just forgive, He forgets. He chooses not to remember your sins.
Day 14 – Hebrews 4:16 – You can approach God’s throne with confidence. Not timidly. Not apologetically. With confidence.
Week 3: You Are Secure & Significant
This week’s Bible reading challenge confronts the lie that you don’t matter. That your life is insignificant. That you’re just taking up space.
God says the exact opposite. Your life has meaning. Your existence has purpose. And your presence makes a difference.
Day 15 – Romans 8:38-39 – Nothing, absolutely nothing, can separate you from God’s love. Not failure. Not fear. Not even death itself.
Day 16 – Ephesians 2:10 – You are God’s masterpiece, created for good works He prepared specifically for you.
Day 17 – Jeremiah 29:11 – God has plans for you. Plans for hope, not harm. Plans for a future worth getting excited about.
Day 18 – Philippians 4:13 – You can do anything through Christ – not in your own power, in His.
Day 19 – John 15:5 – Apart from Christ, we can’t do anything that truly matters. But when we are connected to Him, everything changes.
Day 20 – 1 Corinthians 3:16 – You are a temple of the Holy Spirit. God Himself lives inside you.
Day 21 – Ephesians 2:19 – You belong. You’re not an outsider looking in – you’re family.
Week 4: You Are Called & Equipped
This final week of your February Bible study isn’t just about knowing who you are, it’s about living like you believe it. When you truly understand your identity in Christ, you stop striving for approval and start walking in the freedom that God intended you to have.
Day 22 – Matthew 5:14 – You are the light of the world. Your life illuminates darkness.
Day 23 – John 13:34-35 – You are called to love others the way Christ loves you. This is your mission.
Day 24 – 2 Timothy 1:7 – God didn’t give you a spirit of fear. He gave you power, love, and self-discipline.
Day 25 – 1 Peter 4:10 – You have been given gifts. Not just skills but spiritual gifts meant to serve others.
Day 26 – Romans 8:37 – You are more than a conqueror through Christ. Not just surviving but thriving.
Day 27 – Galatians 5:1 – Christ has set you free. Don’t let anyone put chains back on you.
Day 28 – 2 Corinthians 3:12 – Live with hope and boldness! Your confidence comes from Christ.

Using this Plan as A February Scripture Writing Plan
Writing out Scripture is a powerful way to deepen your connection with God’s Word. Here’s how to turn this simple reading plan into a deaper writing and journaling habit:
1. Write the Verse (Word-for-Word)
- Slowly copy each day’s verse by hand in your journal or notebook.
- Pay attention to each word – you might notice details you might miss when just reading.
2. Reflect & Respond
- Underline phrases that stand out to you.
- Rewrite the verse in your own words.
- Add a prayer based on what you’ve read and what it says to you e.g., “God, help me live as Your beloved child today”.
3. Carry It With You
- Transfer one key phrase to a sticky note or phone lock screen.
- Repeat it throughout the day when doubt or stress arises.
Why Your Identity Matters More Than You Think
Understanding God’s Word isn’t just about information but rather transformation. When you truly grasp who God says you are, it changes how you approach the way you live, the relationships you have, and everything you do.
Your relationships improve because you’re no longer looking for others to complete you. Your work becomes more meaningful because you know your value isn’t tied to productivity. Your fears lose their grip because you’re secure in God’s love.
This is what makes this February Bible study plan different. It’s not just about checking boxes but rather allowing the Scriptures themselves to reshape how you see yourself!
